Apeksha Homoeo Society (AHS) was established in 1980 as a Public Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1860 and the Societies registration Act, 1950. In the 25 years of its existence as a grassroots NGO in Teosa Block of Amravati district, it has grown from a small team of dedicated social activists to a large group of professionals with multi-dimensional skills.It has now its presence in the entire district of Amravati and some pockets of Akola, Washim and Wardha districts respectively. AHS mainly works with the underprivileged and marginalized groups of the society with greater emphasis on the empowerment of women and children. The organization is committed to the ideal of sustainability and thus believes in organizing the poor to ensure participation through collective decision-making and developing democratic leadership within the communities, which augment the development of the area.
